부모 모두와 동행하지 않고 미국을 여행하는 미성년자는 공증된 부모동의서를 준비하세요.
부모 1인이 동행하는 경우에도 미동행 부모의 공증된 부모동의서를 준비해야 합니다.
부모없이 친지 등 제3자와 여행하는 경우 부모동의서에는 동행보호자가 명시되어야 합니다.

Have notarized travel permission letters for minors traveling without their parents, if possible.
If the child is only accompanied by one parent, the adult should have a notarized note from the child's other parent - or, in the case of a child traveling with
grandparents, uncles, or aunts, sisters or brothers, or friends, a note signed by both parents, stating
"I acknowledge that my wife/husband/etc. is traveling out of the country with my son/daughter. He/She/They have my permission to do so.”
▷ 미국국경보호국(U.S. CBP) 공지
미국 국경보호국(U.S. CBP)은 만18세 미만의 미성년자가 혼자서 여행하거나 부모 중 한 명만 동행하여 미국을 여행하는 경우 동행하지 않는 부/모 또는 부모 모두의 서면 동의를 요청합니다. 이는 학생들의 수학여행이나 연수 프로그램과 같은 단체 여행에도 필요합니다.
이 서면 동의서는 영어로 작성되어야 하며, 미국 입국 심사 시 출입국 심사관의 요청에 부모동의서를 제공하지 않을 경우 미성년자의 상황과 안전이 확인될 때까지 미성년자가 억류될 수 있음을 유의하십시오.
미국 여행 자체에는 부모동의서가 필요하지 않지만 출입국에서 부모동의서나 출생증명서를 제시할 수 없는 경우 입국이 거부될 수 있습니다.

United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requests written consent from both parents or the parent who is not accompanying the minor for minors (those less than 18 years of age) traveling to the U.S. alone or accompanied by only one parent. This also is required for group travel such as students’ school excursions or training programs.
This written consent must be in English. Note that if written consent is not provided when requested by an immigration officer during screening for entry to the U.S., the minor may be detained until his or her situation and safety can be confirmed.
While this written consent is not required for travel to the U.S., entry may be refused if an official permit or birth certificate cannot be presented.
